VICTORIAN, COLLECTION OF MOURNING BROOCHES
Eight brooches total. Yellow gold and low karat gold. 3/4 x 5/8 inch - 1 3/8 - 7/8 inches.

Condition
Overall Condition: Scratches, wear, and discoloration to metal throughout consistent with age and use. The black enamel is chipped in a few spots, and the hair element in this brooch has an area of green discoloration. The two-tone floral pin has a small hole in the front. Some pins have dents to the metal. Three pins are hand engraved on the back. Solder marks visible in some areas throughout. Acid test indicates five pins are 14 karat gold, two are low karat gold, and one is gold-filled.
